Too egg your friends you simply drop off an Easter basket full goodies. Post a couple of the “we’ve been egged” signs in their yard and put one of the “you’ve been egged” notes in the basket with a nice little note written by you.
We had a fun week with Janelle and Meredith here and then after we got sick it kinda went downhill. Court got in on Friday and we had a fun time hanging out with him too. We enjoy the time we get to spend with our families and though it might be frustrating at times because you can’t stand what some of them do, say or act, you smile and bear it and try to have fun.
Saturday after the last session of Conference for church, we got together with Court, Janelle, Meredith, Mom, Kari and Matt and dyed Easter Eggs! It was so fun! Here are pictures from this weekend.
Parker is set and ready to go!
Look at that…
So far so good!
Mom helped Parker. She would cup her hands around the cup and Parker would throw the eggs in the water. Mom’s hands were dyed blue by the time we were done!
Meredith putting on stickers.
Court, Mom and I dunno who else shrink wrapped the pictures around some of them and then Court got to dye one of those.
Hard at work!
Parker didn’t get a nap…can you tell…
Look at our eggs…
Aren’t they pretty?
When we finished, Parker was ready for a nap!
The Easter Bunny Came!!
Aunt Squirt helping Parker check out what the Easter Bunny Brought him…
Look at that…
He can climb up and down most furniture including Mom’s bar height kitchen chairs (we discovered that today)
Time for the Easter Egg Hunt…Look I found one!
Meredith found lots…
Parker found about a 1/3 of what Meredith found, but no biggie! He doesn’t care!
Still looking for eggs…
What’s inside the plastic ones? (the Easter Bunny hid plastic ones with candy and the wooden ones that he hid for us when we were little)
What’s in it dad?
I told Meredith to sit in the chair so she wouldn’t fall and this is how she reacted…
She was a little happier to see chocolate!!
Parker Little Buddy
Yum! Chocolate! She gets it from her momma!!
Meredith got a lot of hair bows…
Checking stuff out….
Parker likes to pick on Aunt Squirt and never go to her, I suppose today he was feeling giving and decided to give her a short chance to hold him…
We hope everyone else had a wonderful Easter weekend as well!
We decided we wanted to spend our first easter married with my sister and brother in law and their three kids. We had a lot of fun dyeing eggs, going on egg hunts, playing, and just chatting and catching up with them. So here are a few pictures from the weekend. Sorry there aren’t many of me and adam, but we weren’t the cute ones this weekend the kids were. This is Me not wanting Adam to take a picture of me looking like a hideous beast.
Adam doing his fake smile in the car. I hate that I don’t know how to turn the picture.
Me cheezin it in the car waiting for Caryn and Justin to hurry and pick a movie.
Taylor smiling big for Uncle Adam
Hunter was ready to dig into that candy.
Hunter was checking to see what the easter bunny put in the eggs he found.
Tucker had my shoes on his feet, then he decided that they were so big, he was going to wear them on his hands. He is so silly and cute.
Tucker and Aunt Kim after the big easter egg hunt in the back yard. The kids had a lot of fun looking for eggs. The easter bunny hid some easy ones but some hard ones too that Hunter found.
Hunter checking out what he got from the easter bunny.
Taylor and Tucker putting stickers on their eggs that they colored.
This was a funny story. Tucker held up his chocolate bunny and said what is this and I said its candy. He shook the candy in his right hand and said yeah candy what is this. I said that’s candy too and he said “OHHHH” haha. I love his face in this picture.
Hunter patiently awaiting his egg to finish in the dye.
Aunt Kim about to hand one of them another color to dye another egg.
Taylor was not happy to have her picture taken. Caryn and Justin ran into the movie place and we stayed in the car with the kids
The eggs they dyed. They were so pretty.
Hunter proud of his green egg.
Hunter trying not to look happy in the picture we took while they were in the movie store.
Tucker smiling for me kinda. He likes his picture taken.
