In February, I made Canvases for Adam of my Kid’s Silhouettes.  Adam brought them home this weekend telling me the vinyl was starting to peel off.

I wasn’t sure how to make the vinyl stick at first and then I thought that I could paint the Silhouettes and then just peel the vinyl off.

So I painted a coat of Mod Podge over the whole canvas (with the vinyl still on there) to make it stick.

Then I painted two or three coats of black paint over the whole canvas.

When the paint was mostly dry, I peeled the vinyl off.

Now I know for next time to just do this instead of leaving the canvas on there!
